Walk with FEAR…

…fear of GOD.

naalala ko lang yung nangyari nung swimming namin. . we were taught some swimming lessons by one of our friend(na National Swimmer). . proper breathing, floating, freestyle and other stroke sa swimming. . isa sa mga tinuro nya ay ang pagd-“dive”, apat kami na nagtry, nakuha naman namin pero isa lang samin yung may pinakamagandang dive (at hindi ako yun! =p), malaEnchong Dee! pinapanood ko lang syang magdive . . and then isa sa attempt nya e nauntog sya sa floor ng pool, kaya tinanong ko sya:

ako: bakit ka nauntog?
sya: fearless!
ako: ah! kailangan pala may takot! hahahaha! =)

at bigla kong naalala kung paano tayo kung wala ang Panginoon. Kung patuloy tayong mamumuhay ng walang takot at pagmamahal sa Panginoon, patuloy tayong madadapa, masasaktan at masusugatan.

We must walk with fear, “fear of GOD”. Fear with love, na ayaw natin Syang masaktan, so that we will obey HIS words and will do what pleases HIM. Yes, bad things can still happen to us but the promise of GOD is this : In all things GOD will work for your good.


 ”28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? “- Romans 8:28-31 (NIV)

  

so walk with fear of the LORD, stand firm in faith and serve GOD with all your heart. =)

Have you ever really thought about the relationship between a branch and the vine? We don’t use these kinds of word pictures very much anymore, but think about it—if the branch is not attached to the vine, it withers and dies. The very life of the branch depends on being attached to the vine. The same thing happens if we try to operate in this life without Jesus. Without Him, we can do nothing. We are cut from our life source. But when you remain in Him by daily connecting with Him through prayer, worship and study of the Word, then your life will be fruitful. You’ll walk in joy and blessing. Notice that this verse says “much fruit.” It’s saying that you will have an abundant harvest in your life. Remember, God doesn’t want you to just barely get by. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness! Choose to remain in Him today; choose to make Him your top priority, and you’ll see His hand of blessing operating in every area of your life!
